2 yankees games, and coming of soccer season

Yankee's v. Devil Rays april 27, 2006

Great $5 game to go to and sit in tier 34. Yanks won.

15 days later same stadium
Yankee's
Free main box tickets, about 10 feet foul of the right field pole. Yanks won.

Still a game behind the red sox as they were half a month ago.
HOWEVER, SOME THINGS HAD CHANGED....
Sheffield on the DL

Matsui out for the season

This put Bernie in right, with one of two very weak arms. The Yankee's infield made some very impressive plays and Wang pitched a dominant 8 innings of 3-hit ball.

I have been to 3 RED BULL NEW YORK (formerly known as metrostars) gamesand made cash
but the joint was jumping tonight. Ecuador vs. Columbia (double header after the metrostars game)

Here's a local radio report of this game, well no, its an AP report.
This jam was mad fun to be present, then to make over 100 bucks. First soccer game I have been to where they spilled onto the top deck. No other vendors chose to trek up there. I spent more time climbing the spirals.
here is the espn report of the game as well.

Someone told me there are NHL (p)layoffs going on. Can anyone confirm to this blog if that is true?
